Guiding Eyes For The Blind Socialization Event – Guiding Eyes for The Blind will be conducting a pup-in-training socialization event at the mall on February 20th beginning at 5 p.m. Guiding Eyes for the Blind provides guide dogs to people with vision loss. The socialization program is a crucial program that helps puppies get the right start on the long path to becoming guide dogs.
American Red Cross Blood Drive – Aviation Mall will host a community blood drive with the American Red Cross on Friday, February 22 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. across from Peter Harris. Cub Scout Fundraiser – Local Cub Scout troops will be selling packaged nuts and trail mix on Saturday, February 23 and Sunday, February 24 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to raise funds for various upcoming scouting activities including providing funds to help scouts attend summer scout camps. Their fundraising table will be located near Regal Cinema.
World Awareness Children’s Museum Exhibition – The World Awareness Children’s Museum of Glens Falls is showcasing an exhibition of children’s artwork, traditional cultural costumes and more from around the world. The exhibition will be on display next to Planet Fitness. The World Awareness Children’s Museum has been a NYS Designated Charter Museum since 1995, with a mission to inspire curiosity and foster understanding and appreciation of worldwide cultural diversity. Its collection is comprised of pieces from 140 countries including 8,000+ artifacts and 8,000+ pieces of international children’s art.
