Glens Falls Community Theatre Presents Two More Readings of The Women of Lockerbie

Back by popular demand, the Glens Falls Community Theatre will present two more performances of a reading of “The Women of Lockerbie” by Deborah Brevoort.

  • Thursday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. at the Glens Falls Senior Center, 380 Glen St., Glens Falls
  • Monday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at Crandall Public Library, 251 Glen St., Glens Falls

The reading, directed by Janet Williams Davies, is part of GFCT’s commitment to bring new works to the arts community through its Experimental Theatre Company (etc…). Loosely inspired by a true story, this award winning play describes how the women of Lockerbie, Scotland, strove in a very unique way to wash away the terrible wounds inflicted by the terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 in 1988.

The cast includes:

  • Phil Jessen – Bill Livingston
  • Sharon Reynolds – Madeleine Livingston
  • Keelye St. John – Olive Allison
  • Bea Roman – Hattie
  • Camille West Wodicka – Woman 1
  • Linda Barrass – Woman 2
  • Alan Dunham – George Jones

There will be no admission charge but donations will be gladly accepted.
