The last weekend in January signals Ice Bar Season in the area! Below is a listing of 7 ice bars, plus Winterfest at Erlowest featuring fire bars!
The Sagamore Glacier Ice Bar & Lounge (Jan. 25,26 & Feb. 1,2)
Experience the sprawling ice display that started it! At The Sagamore Resort you’ll see an incredible 18,000 pounds of ice that has been transformed into a bar, tables, seating, and plenty of ice sculptures perfect for photo ops. Enjoy delicious cocktails overlooking the currently frozen lake.
Funky Ice Fest at Adirondack Pub & Brewery (Jan. 25,26 & Feb.1,2)
The funk is back! Pick up a hand-crafted cocktail made with local spirits and enjoy dozens of interactive ice sculptures, an ice art gallery and more! Explore a Frozen Forest, complete with critters howling at the moon. Bring your own vinyl to spin and get funky at the 70s dance party with disco balls. Play games made out of ice like the one below!
Ice Lounge at King Neptune’s Pub (Opening Jan. 25 and continuing through February)
King Neptune’s Lakeside Ice Lounge is back starting January 25 and continuing through February! Join them for the Grand Opening of the Ice Lounge on Friday, January 25th at 6:30pm. The evening starts with a live radio broadcast with WEQX and keeps on rockin’ with live music from Multipede presented by Wild Adriatic. Forest Ice Bar at Holiday Inn (Jan. 25,26 & Feb. 1,2)
The fire pit area near the front entrance is transformed into a magical ice forest. Nestled among the pines, you can order a specialty cocktail at the Ice Bar and cozy up to a fire. Live music by great local artists each night, too!
The Garrison Ice Bar (Jan. 25-27 & Feb. 1-3)
This restaurant and bar on Beach Road will have Lake George’s newest Ice Bar this year! You’ll have two weekends to check it out. They’ll have specialty cocktails, beer, cider, wine, food, samplings, prizes live music, and much more!
Lake George Beach Club (February)
The Lake George Beach Club’s Ice Bar & Lounge is complete with a bar, pong tables, and a luge all made of — you guessed it — ice! Join them on weekends in February during Lake George Winter Carnival for the ice bar, live music and a front row seat for the weekly fireworks at 6 p.m. on Saturdays in February.
Polar Ice Bar at Fort William Henry (Feb 8&9)
This February, the Fort William Henry is serving up drinks, beer, and cocktails at their annual Polar Ice Bar. Carved ice sculptures and ice bar will be on display on the back lawn overlooking Lake George! Also enjoy their outdoor fire lounge, entertainment and more.
BONUS: Warm up at Winterfest! (Jan 25,26 & Feb 1,2)
Winterfest at Erlowest is back for two weekends! Take a break from the ice to enjoy a cocktail at the fire bars at this event. Come inside and warm up in the Grand Ballroom with live music on Friday evenings! Plus, on Saturdays, they have invited vendors from the Lake George, Bolton Landing & Glens Falls Area to showcase their businesses and products beginning at noon and continuing until 10 p.m. We will be a vendor there with information about what’s happening this winter season in the area and our Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail brochures!
