The primary market for the LGRCC generic advertising program is the northeast region, basically within a 2-hour radius. They are specifically designed to reach day-trippers and weekend vacationers. Generic ads range from 2 column 2-inch ads to 2 column 5-inch ads. These ads are specifically designed to promote seasonal activities as well as the schedule of events for the Lake George area.
Special Travel Sections:
Summer travel sections published by local, single market publications focusing on vacationing and outdoor activities have very large distributions, and are commonly distributed several times during the season. Travel sections tend to be the “premier” publication for these markets. Many newspapers distribute these sections to several markets and distribute to restaurants, information centers, malls, and any other high traffic areas.
